During the Milano Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2025, “Fashion in Progress” was officially presented at LAWP Studio Legale. This non-profit organization, founded in September 2024, was born from the shared vision of its promoters and founders, lawyer Alessio Di Pietro and model and activist Ambra Battilana Gutierrez, to contribute concretely—through their own experience in their respective fields of expertise—to the development of greater protection for the so-called “Fashion Workers”.
The founders of Fashion in Progress – during the evening of February 27 – retraced, together with their guests, the main problems of the fashion industry, noting that in many cases the absence of ethics as well as labor exploitation, abuse and misinformation still prevail.
The promoters of the initiative also explained the main associative mission of intervening in favor of Fashion Workers in order to obtain regulation of the sector for the prevention of all forms of injustice, alongside support and training activities also aimed at greater awareness of their rights.
